What is "3P"?
Recent epidemiological studies and medical statistics clearly show growth in the cancer morbidity rate. Gastrointestinal cancers, as large bowel cancer, gastric cancer, esophagus cancer, pancreas and liver cancer, leads in statistics.
The only “advantage” of this fact is that those cancers grow slowly, and although they can show in every age, there is a vast chance for detection this fatal disease in the time when therapy can be effective, or even in precancerous condition. It is known that pathological changes as polyps or dysplasia in histopathological examinations are defined as precancerous conditions. Their removal can fully protect the patient from cancer development.
To take advantage of this chance it is necessary to seriously think about cancer prevention. Examinations carried out when symptoms are present and changes in laboratory tests visible indicate late stage and at the same time the advanced cancer.
Only prevention in the field of:
-endoscopy (gastroscopy, colonoscopy)
-medical imaging (USG, RTG, RM, TC)
can protect people from serious pathological changes and cancer.
